Guitar Lessons
What styles do guitar lessons cover?
Pop, rock, blues, classical, alternative, country, and more — always built around what you actually want to play, whether that's first chords, technique, or improvisation and solos.
What will I learn in guitar lessons?
Technique, posture, tone, rhythm, chord charts, melody writing, improvisation, ear training, music theory, and expression — building a solid foundation while developing your own sound.
Do I need an acoustic or electric guitar?
That depends on your goals and musical interests. If you're unsure which to start with, we'll figure it out together during the trial lesson.
Do I need to bring my own guitar?
An acoustic guitar is available for the trial lesson. For regular lessons you'll need your own instrument. As a Thomann Premium Partner I can recommend the right gear for your level and budget.
How long are guitar lessons?
30 minutes, one-on-one, weekly.
What level do I need to be to start?
No level required. Guitar lessons are available from complete beginner through to intermediate players. If you've never touched a guitar, that's a perfectly fine place to start.
Music Production Lessons
What will I learn in music production lessons?
Arrangement, sound design, recording, mixing, mastering, plugin use, DAW navigation, workflow, session organisation, and creative decision-making — helping you translate musical ideas into finished, professional tracks.
Which DAW do you teach?
I primarily work in Fender Studio Pro, but lessons are open to any DAW — Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Cubase, or anything else. We work via Zoom screen sharing directly in your session, whatever software you use.
What equipment do I need?
A computer and a DAW are all you need to get started. No audio interface, microphone, or instruments are required to begin. If you don't have a DAW yet, we'll sort that out in the trial lesson. Students may also qualify for educational discounts on professional music software and plugins.
How long are music production lessons?
60 minutes, one-on-one, weekly, via Zoom.
What does an online lesson look like?
You share your screen and DAW via Zoom, and I give real-time feedback and practical guidance that applies directly to your own music — exactly like an in-person session, just online.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Most of my production students start with no prior experience. The first lessons focus on understanding your DAW, setting up your workspace, and making your first sounds — no theory or technical background needed.
